Maureen’s journey into yoga began more than 20 years ago after an injury led her to the mat. With a background in ballet, aerobics, personal training, weightlifting, and long-distance running, she brings a unique and well-rounded perspective to her teaching.
Her style is honest, direct, and deeply personal. Designed to make yoga accessible to everyone, not just a select few. Maureen creates an environment where students feel encouraged to interact, ask questions, and learn at their own pace. Always educating, always engaging, she ensures yoga remains inclusive rather than intimidating.
Maureen holds multiple certifications, including Yoga as Medicine Level I (Dr. Timothy McCall), Yoga-Fit, Hot Vinyasa Flow (Levels II & III with Jimmy Barkan), and is a graduate of the Yoga School Finding Inner Peace. She has taught for over 18 years, trained teachers through 200-hour programs, and developed a therapeutic Chair Yoga practice endorsed by Dr. Lawrence McAuliffe, Chief of Cardiology at Cape Cod Hospital.
Beyond yoga, Maureen is also a Serv-Safe Certified chef who creates nourishing “Mindful Menus” based on clean eating and whole foods. Whether guiding you through asanas or preparing an organic buffet, she blends movement and mindfulness to help you feel your best.
“I think what sets me apart is I have more of a therapeutic approach. It’s very personal, but not in an intrusive way. I want to offer yoga to everybody, not just somebody…”
