Cancellation Policy

1. Session Overview This policy applies to all individual sessions offered by The Moving Meditation. Each session is valid only for the date and time selected at booking and may be used solely by the individual whose name appears on the reservation. 2. Scheduling, Rescheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows 2.1. All bookings are subject to instructor availability. 2.2. Clients may cancel or reschedule their own bookings online up to 12 hours before the start time. 2.3. Cancellations submitted more than 7 days before the session will receive a full refund minus a small processing fee. 2.4. Cancellations submitted between 7 days and 12 hours before the session will incur a 50% no-show fee. 2.5. Cancellations submitted less than 12 hours before the session will incur a 100% no-show fee. 2.6. Failure to attend a scheduled session without notice (“no-show”) results in forfeiture of the session and is not eligible for credit, rescheduling, or refund. 3. Refunds and Transfers 3.1. Refunds are only permitted in accordance with the no-show policy above. Otherwise, all sales are final. 3.2. Sessions may not be transferred, reassigned, or shared. 3.3. Session extensions or freezes are not permitted unless required by law. 4. Assumption of Risk & Waiver 4.1. Participation in yoga, movement, and wellness classes involves physical exertion and inherent risks. 4.2. By booking, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with classes and activities offered by The Moving Meditation and Maureen Hammett. 4.3. Participants release and discharge The Moving Meditation, Maureen Hammett, and affiliated instructors and staff from any claims or liabilities arising from participation or use of the facility. 4.4. Participants affirm they are physically able to participate and have consulted a physician if necessary. 5. Participant Responsibilities 5.1. Participants must disclose injuries, limitations, or concerns before the session. 5.2. Participants agree to follow safety guidance and studio policies. 5.3. Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in dismissal without refund. 5.4. Our studio dog is regularly present during sessions. By attending, participants acknowledge the dog’s presence and agree to notify the instructor of allergies, phobias, or concerns in advance. 6. Agreement By booking, the participant confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy and acknowledges that this agreement is legally binding.
